Oxyuridae

A family of parasitic nematodes (superfamily Oxyuroidea) found in the large intestine or caecum of vertebrates and the intestine of invertebrates, especially insects and millipedes; it includes the genera Aspiculurus, Enterobius, Oxyuris, Passalurus, Syphacia, and Thelandros.
