Rous sarcoma

Rous sarcoma is in tumour subject.

A fibrosarcoma, originally observed in a Plymouth Rock hen, now thought to be an expression of infection by certain viruses of the avian leukosis-sarcoma complex in the family Retroviridae.

Synonym: avian sarcoma, Rous tumour.
