embryocardia

A condition in which the cadence of the heart sounds resembles that of the foetus, the first and second sounds becoming alike and evenly spaced; a sign of serious myocardial disease.

Synonym: pendulum rhythm, tic-tac rhythm, tic-tac sounds.
