jugulodigastric lymph node

A prominent lymph node in the deep lateral cervical group lying below the digastric muscle and anterior to the internal jugular vein; it receives lymphatic drainage from the pharynx, palatine tonsil, and tongue.

Synonym: nodus jugulodigastricus, jugulodigastric node, subdigastric node.
